Component F in Domain 4 of the Danielson Framework is about professional conduct in the classroom and the community. This entails always prioritizing the needs of the student even when doing so is difficult. Teachers must act as an example for their students of "honesty and integrity" and be aware of how their own behavior may be imitated by students. Distinguished educators are willing to try new tactics of instruction in order to help their students, even if their decisions run counter to traditional practice. When making decisions about what is best for students, teachers should be dependable, following district regulations and acting in accordance with the school's values.
