Component D in Domain 4 of the Danielson Framework reminds teachers that they are part of a professional community which includes other educators in the same school and those who are a part of an extended professional learning network. Teachers can share strategies for instruction, make consistent plans for students that meet individual needs, and combine efforts to try new things. Educators should be willing to ask questions and learn from others. Additionally, distinguished teachers will participate in school-wide events and be willing to serve their school and community outside of the classroom.
