This component assesses the management of classroom resources. These resources include those meant for classroom instruction, for the education of teachers, and for use by the student. These resources can include instructional technology that the teacher learns to use and demonstrates to students, such as Canva, Classcraft, or Google forms. By using a variety of resources, teachers are able to vary the kinds of assignments students are given, and if this is done well, then students will be more engaged in their work. When creating assignments with resources, teachers must differentiate requirements when necessary to ensure all students are able to complete the work. Resources for teacher education are valuable for teachers to improve their practice. Examples of teacher resources include college courses and professional learning networks.
